Introduction to Unit XXVII:
What Should I Wear?
In Unit XXVII you will learn communication strategies which focus on clothing preferences and social considerations. The Unit presents patterns for the formation of comparative degrees of adjectives You will practise using verbs, expressions and adverbs which complement the theme. You will continue to have opportunities to practise reading comprehension and translation skills.

What will you learn by the end of this Unit?
- To practise creating sentences which contain adjective - noun combinations for comparative purposes.
- To demonstrate the ability to create comparative degrees of adjectives and apply them appropriately in sentences.
- To practise using verbs presented in the Unit in authentic conversations about clothing, preferences and social considerations.
- To review Dative forms of pronouns, as well as the case endings of prepositional phrases and nouns.
- To reinforce skill development for oral reading and basic translation.

Синопсис
Маруся й Орися готуються йти на вечірку до Оленки й Тараса. Дівчата запросили своїх товаришів, Андрія та Івана, піти з ними на вечірку. На жаль, дівчата не можуть вирішити, що одягнути! Маруся не знає, котра блюзка краща – зелена чи біла. Орися думає, що зелена блюзка краща для Марусі. Коли Маруся каже, що вона одягне зелену блюзку, Орися позичає білу блюзку для себе!
